General Description

Can Xicarro is one of the most exciting, elegant and luxurious places to stay in the whole of Catalunya.

Located in Vilanova, just 15 minutes drive to Sitges with stunning sea and mountain views.

Can Xicarro is an exceptional example of Neo Moorish architecture; an exotic blend of Moorish, Hispanic and Renaissance styles famous for its exquisitely elaborate colour and detail.

Built around a towering "patio interior" over three floors, this ancient Moorish design allows every room in the Villa to be flooded with light.

Both the house and the extensive grounds have been restored to their original splendour and updated with the latest technology and services.

Xicarro is surrounded by a walled garden of 2 hectares. The garden supports a rich diversity of flora with over 70 different tree species, designated horticultural areas, ponds, lawns and a wide range of domestic birds.

Dominating the surrounding countryside, it provides spectacular views over Vilanova towards the Mediterranean Sea as well as the surrounding hills of the Massif del Garraf.

The main house of Can Xicarro has 9 en suite bedrooms on the top two floors, although the Masia can sleep up to 20.

There are various salons, meeting rooms
with Internet, library and dinning facilities. The first floor sun terraces and the ground floor covered arches provide spacious relaxation areas. It is ideal for groups of up to 20.

The Bodega, a building adjacent to the main house, has been restored and provides a further 350m2. It can be used as one large room or subdivided into smaller independent areas. (Available to rent separately)

Parking facilities for up to 50 vehicles are available at the rear of the bodega. The 2 acres of gardens plus swimming pool and tennis court provide spaces for guests to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the walled garden.

Large games room with pool table, chess and music system.
Large airy dining room.
Spacious kitchen complete with 2 fridges, freezer, cooker ,2 ovens, dishwasher, microwave etc.

The Mostaza Room which is a very large double room with en suite and shower.

The ground floor has a covered porch with seating areas surrounding the house giving access to the grounds and providing al fresco dining facilities.

First Floor:
The first floor has direct access to a private balcony and sun loungers, all rooms provide views over the gardens and grounds and all are en- suite. The rooms are:

The Pimenton Room with sitting room (or
children’s bedroom) with Jacuzzi. TV.

The Curcuma Room with chimney, open fire place and a spectacular Jacuzzi bath.

The Menta Room with a bathroom wuith a full bath.

The Cilantro Room with bathroom with shower.

The Music Room; an absolute jewel of a room with gilded ceilings. Ideal for formal dining.

Second Floor
All rooms are en suite (3 with Jacuzzi type baths)and provide generous views over the
gardens and surrounding countryside.

The Sultan Suite. A stunning room. Large and airy it has a Bang and Olufson satellite TV and surround sound DVD music system. It has a private reception room which could be used as an additional room.
