How do I book an apartment?
On the home page (http://www.outlet4spain.com/index.php), fill in the search form. Properties are listed according to availability and price. If a property is available, simply hit the BOOK PROPERTY button. Follow the 3 easy steps from there. Your reservation is subject to a Euro 25 booking fee which is made clear at the time of booking.
How do I book a Hotel?
Simply complete the Hotel reservation request form. We will reserve your room and confirm your booking to you directly. Your card is charged with 10% of the total cost together with a one off booking fee of Euros 25.00. You pay for your accommodation at check out.
When I make a booking is my apartment reserved for me?
Yes. All Outlet Managed apartments are exclusively managed by us and we hold all availability LIVE. When you book an apartment our system automatically removes your dates from the calendar so no one else can book the apartment. An automated email is sent to you confirming the booking.
Where we act as Booking Agents the reservation process is exactly the same and your dates are removed from our system. These calendars are updated every 24 hours so in high season there is a chance the dates may not be available.
Where are the apartments?
All our apartments are located within the popular central area of each town or city, or within easy walking distance. In Sitges, for example, all apartments are located within 10 to 15 minutes walk of the beach, most being just 3 or 4 minutes walk.
Where do I check In? When are you open?
All check in and arrival details, including how to get to Sitges, Barcelona, and to your apartment are included in your confirmation email. We MUST have your arrival time so we can advise you of our relevant check in procedures.
Outlet Office Hours
Our “virtual office” remains open all year round for bookings, enquiries and correspondence. The “physical” office in Sitges opens as follows:
SUMMER Mon to Fri 10.00 to 14.00 and 15.00 to 18.00. Sat 10.00 to 14.30. Sun CLOSED
WINTER Mon, Weds, Fri am only. CLOSED WEEKENDS
In all our destinations, check in instructions are sent to you. In each case you are met by one of our representatives.
Where do I collect keys?
Your confirmation email will tell you how to collect keys and check in. In Sitges, this is generally at our office, although we can also meet you at the train station or at your apartment.
What if I lose keys or get locked out?
All replacement keys will have to be paid for. Copies are held by our agents or in our office. If you leave a key in the door or get locked out, you will be liable for the locksmith call out charges.
Payment
Your outstanding balance is payable at check in ALL of our apartments and at check out for ALL Hotels. In our Booking Agent apartments payment is usually payable only in cash (Euros). If you wish to pay in advance with your credit card, a 3% surcharge is charged in addition. You will also be asked to sign a security form and give your passport details. These are required by the Spanish authorities.
What happens if I arrive after office hours or on a Sunday?
So our guests can travel late at night, or on Sundays, we provide a Meet and Greet check in service. This means you can arrive outside of office hours but still be checked in. This is when one of our representatives will meet you at the designated place (either the office or the property).
Can you collect me from the airport?
If you are flying into Barcelona, we can arrange a taxi to collect you at the airport and bring you to Sitges. The cost is from € 65 for a collection (3 adults) and prices for a larger car are available on request. For Reus and Girona, other prices are available on request.
A waiting time of half an hour is included in this price, if you are delayed, you must telephone our office to let us know. In the event of a longer delay, the waiting time is charged at € 50 per hour or part thereof.
How do I get to your Sitges office from Barcelona Airport?
The train from the airport takes you directly to El Prat de Llobregat, (every train from the airport takes you to this station and it is the first stop). At El Prat change for the train to Sitges. There is major work on this line, so please check which platform and the final destination of your train. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT PICKPOCKETS OPERATE ON THIS TRAIN.
The Mon Bus takes 25 minutes to Sitges. Bus timetables change with the season. Check the website at www.monbus.cat. The Mon Bus drops you off at the Oasis centre, (next to the tourist office in Sitges). The bus is fairly reliable, and is quicker than the train, but occasionally runs very late or doesn’t turn up at all.
To the Office from Sitges Train Station. Come out of the main exit of the train station. Look over to your left and you will see a cafe. Walk round to the cafe and a zebra crossing in front of you takes you over the main road. The street ahead of you is Francesc Guma. We are on this street about 10 seconds down on the left.
To the Office From Sitges Tourist Office (the Mon Bus). Cross over the road at the zebra crossing, (to the Bon Area shop) following the road down the hill to the crossroads junction, cross over the zebra and turn left up C. Artur Carbonell. You will pass the train station on your left, keep going and take a right into C. Francesc Guma. The office is on the left hand side in Galleria Via Sitges. The walk is no more than 3 minutes and Francesc Guma is the third right on Artur Carbonell.
How do I get to my accommodation in Barcelona, Gran Canaria, Madrid etc?
Your confirmation will inform you of directions to your apartment, where you will be met by our representative, who checks you in, gives you a guided tour and can answer any of your questions. We can also book airport transfers and collections on your behalf.
The apartments are self-catering. Are there any towels and bed linen in the apartment? What else?
The apartments are self catering and are designed with the independent traveller in mind. Bed linen and towels are all provided, *though not beach towels. All accommodation has access to a kitchen where you will find suitable glasses, plates, cutlery, pots and pans. Most of our apartments also have TV, CD players, tea and coffee making equipment, microwaves, heating, fans or air conditioning and we also have many luxury apartments, with dishwasher, SKY TV, DVD, BBQ, juicers, blenders, the whole works. Please check the individual accommodation descriptions for electronic equipment and appliances provided in each.
Will my bed linen be changed during my stay?
We have different arrangements for different cities, please ask your representative which days are scheduled for towel and linen changes.
Is there a charge for cleaning on departure?
Some of our Agents require a cleaning charge. Outlet managed apartments do not. However... all apartments must be left in the same clean state as upon your arrival. You must do the washing up and take out your trash. If the property is left in an unreasonable condition, we will charge your credit card for extra cleaning.
Is there a phone in the apartment?
There are no phones provided in our accommodation for 3 reasons: the proliferation of mobile phones, the complications of billing individuals for call charges, and the possibility of inappropriately timed calls for previous guests from different time zones. In London, you may hire a mobile telephone through Accommodation Outlet - please email them directly at homes@outlet.co.uk if you are interested.
Is there wi fi in the apartment?
We generally do not provide wi-fi or adsl services (although there are some exceptions). The configuration required for different laptops is not a service we are technically able to provide. However, there are now a proliferation of internet cafes and shops throughout Spain, so you can stay in touch!
What do I do if a friend needs to contact me?
For emergency contacts, you may give out the telephone number and/or email address of our Sitges/Barcelona office and we will be glad to pass on the message to you.

Can I smoke in the apartment?
Most of the apartments are suitable for smokers, however we also have non-smoking available. The non-smoking apartments are so noted in the individual accommodation descriptions.
Is the room/apartment secure?
All our apartments are secured with keys to open and lock the street door, with keys to lock the apartment door, and with keys to secure the door to your room(s) in the apartment.
Is there a laundry service?
There are both self service and laundry services in all of our destinations. Please ask at the office or our representative for directions to the most convenient location for your accommodation upon arrival. Almost all our apartments in Sitges are fitted with a washing machine.
Where can I change money?
It is easiest to bring Euro traveller’s cheques with, which are readily accepted at Outlet, bureau de change, banks, and major retailers with proper identification. Otherwise, all major credit cards are accepted in Spain, as are most debit cards. You can also obtain cash from ATM machines in Spain, although your bank may levy a charge. Please ask the representative for directions to the most convenient location upon arrival.
Can I use the Internet in your office to retrieve or send e-mails?
I'm afraid that we do not have facilities for our customers to use the Internet. Please ask the representative for directions to the most convenient Internet cafe where you will be able to send and retrieve e-mails at a reasonable price. Charges are cheap in Spain.
